HepHIV Conference 2023 took place on November 13-15 in Madrid. This year the conference focused on progress and implementation of integrated testing, new technologies and ensuring equity in the delivery of HIV, viral hepatitis and STI services. AAE Member Meeting 2023

The AAE Member and Partner Meeting 2023 took place on November 4 in Berlin.  Together with the members from across the region we reflected on what the most pressing needs and priorities of our membership are for the upcoming years. Community Manifesto for HIV Long-Acting Injectable PrEP in Europe

AIDS Action Europe is among more than 40  European and global organisations to endorse a community manifesto calling for the introduction of long-acting injectable PrEP in Europe. The manifesto is a result of a consensus meeting held in Paris in March 2023 between regional and international HIV prevention organisations and activists including: AIDES; AIDS Action Europe; AVAC; Coalition PLUS; EATG; Fundacja Edukacji Spolecznej; GSSG – Germany’s Charitable Foundation Sexuality and Health; and PrEPster at The Love Tank CIC. EU Health Policy Platform Annual Meeting – Stakeholders’ Dialogue: Joint Statements, Study results and discussion

The annual meeting of the EU Health Policy Platform will be held on 19 April. As part of the morning session, Thematic Networks, including the Thematic Network on HIV, TB, viral hepatitis, and STIs led by the EU Civil Society Forum will present the Joint Statements. Prevention and control of infectious diseases among people who inject drugs

This joint guidance by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) aims to support policy-makers and public health/social programme planners by providing an evidence base for developing national strategies, policies, and programmes for preventing and controlling infections and infectious diseases among people who inject drugs. It also provides practice considerations and aims to inform the monitoring and evaluation of prevention and control strategies, policies, and programmes.

NGO Delegation's 2023 Report to the UNAIDS PCB - People living with HIV during humanitarian emergencies

The NGO Delegation has decided that this year’s report to the PCB will focus on ‘HIV response for people living with HIV during humanitarian crises and emergencies’. 

The findings of this extensive study are to be documented, analyzed, and presented at this 2023 PCB meeting in December.
